Welcome to the Interior Design Society Virtual Chapter, the first virtual design chapter allowing us to bring the design community together worldwide. The new Virtual chapter of The Interior Design Society (IDS) offers its members community, education, business support and exciting, new opportunities. With benefits, resources and special events all from the comfort of your computer. They are actively engaged in the Philadelphia design community and are on top of the latest products, technologies, and trends. Our government and public relations team works at the state and federal levels to represent your interests as an interior design professional AND as a business owner. Our first priority is right to practice –whether that be through interior design legislation or seal/stamp privileges at the municipal level.

To support the Board and staff, ASID invites members and other individuals from the interior design community to join one of several committees, councils, or task forces. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, we strive to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives. Our chapter covers a geographic area extending from San Luis Obispo in the north down to the Orange County line, and from the Pacific Ocean east to Palm Springs and the desert communities. With over 500 interior designers, 270 Industry Partners, and 200 student members, ASID Los Angeles is one of the largest ASID Chapters. We represent some of the most influential and trend-setting interior designers in the United States.

ASID promotes involvement, innovation, and expanded access to leadership opportunities that maximize engagement across identity groups and professional levels. Identity groups include and are not limited to age, appearance, disability, ethnicity, gender, geographic location, nationality, professional level, race, religion, and sexual orientation. The annual call for Nominations is open to members of the design community who may or may not be ASID members. Board terms are three years and run from October 1-September 30 annually, which is ASID’s fiscal year.
